I think it depends on what you want or where if anywhere you want it to go after the bedroom (back of pub, lane way, park, hotel room, kitchen bench, spa, under resturant table) fun has happened. If you want more of the same go hard fun with that person, then hey first date is fine,(is it a date if you are only there for sex?). If you want it to be a one night thing, then yep first meet again...... BUT, if you want a long lasting meaningful relationship, with romance, love and touchy feely sex....... wait till you are married (well I am sure that is what my mummy would say).......
When it is right it is right, no matter what the outcome as long as you are both complely spent and satisfied. Should that be after first meet bonus, otherwise keep going till you are.. . . . .

It just depends on the chemistry, and I don't think waiting needs to makes a difference to whether things work out long term or not. I waited for my ex wife... and didn't for my current g/f - guess which is going better?

Flings have gone both ways too - and one lady I had fun with on the first night I soon nicknamed "stalker" so she definitely didn't have a problem with making something serious out of a first night fling!
