Thankyou to the three men who responded...Yes there is a shortage of available men over this side..and when I do meet a good man they I am sorry to say are usually gay, married or emotionally unavailable. I feel like I am cursed!! I am a good woman, and perhaps the fact that I am shy and dont put out straight up deters men. That I have a strong mind, and focused on what I want and will not put up with shit also does not fare well for me. I am beggining to wonder why? this is a pattern? when I travel to distant lands I am always meeting men, however I usually fall for their charming ways and then find out they cannot be my man!! because of someone else!! this really hurts...That I am a loyal person who is not into hurting other people and have a calmness and clarity of self which more often than not reflects upon the other and it feels too intense and they run...I have no answers as to my perpetual state of singledom, I will say that I must get out more and then perhaps i will cross paths with the man for me.I am at University as an older woman, simply because I want to make a differance and be of service to others that are in need of a proffesional ear, to guide them on their path...I do feel that support for me in this decision is quite low..and I feel sad that I have no loyal friend, lover and confidante...So I keep on looking after myself, and hoping that a good man is walking toward me...I am also contemplating moving to the east coast with my two gay friends to sydney...I am looking forward to anothwer month is Bali at years end. I am also scared shitless of the dating world!!2008...is it so differant than 2000 when i was last out on the dating scene? who knows...anyways I feel that i have made some friends here, yet to meet in person..however a connection has been made and I hope one day we can have a dance and a few drinks somewhere lovely together.
