Back to the office for another week of it and I realise this is NOT my calling! Its a job, and a good one but it does little to nuture and foster growth. It tends to nurture and foster frustration, annoyance, and pettyness with collegues. I am going to find a way to spend more time in an environment where people are valued and uplifted and rewarded. I'm going to charity lunch this week where the organisers are involved in leadership development programs for youth who are in danger of 'slipping through the net'. I am looking for an opportunity to apply what I have learned through my own journey and encourage people to achieve more than they otherwise would have. I expect to find something at this lunch, other than a delicious prawn and avacado salad, which will direct me to the place where I can do my best work.
