Autumn, that time of year for shedding the old, no longer useful, and preparing for hibernation! Life is  wonderful dance of precision engineering coupled with unfathomable beauty. Interesting how philosophical we get as we age, but I am becoming so much more aware of the beauty of the world we live in. Everything has meaning, even the most inane which we often cast aside as unimportant. When we take time to look at everything that occurs in our lives there is a thread of meaning, and purpose in it. It all starts to make sense as we see the correlation in everything. This fascination with the universe and its ways has brought so much joy to my life because it shows that beneath the surface there is purpose - a plan. It reminds me that I have a place in that plan and that I have purpose. I can conclude that everything that happens, happens from me and not to me. I take responsibility for the events of my life and am therefore empowered. This is a wonderful place to be! The opposite is to have no control over these events - to be a victim of circumstance - to be disempowered. This can only lead to pain and frustration. How do I know? Been there done that!

Which paradigm do you choose? Neither is 'right' or 'wrong'. They just lead to different places. You just have to decide where you want to be.
