Just wanted to post a blog regarding the chatroom, coz it's probably the best way to pass the word to everyone, rather than sending everyone a message individually.... anyway, yeah, lets get that comunity feel going again !

It used to be a load of fun to pop into chat and see 10 or so people in there, running a muck, talking trash, showing off on cam... laughing on mic..... all that stuff.... it was cool fun. I can even remember being at Oodlums place one night playing poker, and Ood sat his laptop on the poker table, so the game was on cam.... and we were playing poker and on the hops n hiss while chatting to everyone in the chatroom... fun times !

See, this site would be so much more awsome if we could get the numbers to grow - yes numbers have been growing, but people get bored easily... if there's no actiivity, they'll leave. So, if we start using the chatroom, people will be interacting and generally having a bit of fun... they are likely to stick around and we can get to know eachother much better :)

I've been loggin in a few nights a week and just sitting there... while browsing elsewhere. I check back every so often to see if anyone has arrived... most of the time i notice someone arrive and have a bit of a gasbag. Last night i met Kokonut-gurl, i'm glad i was paying attention when she popped in... we had a great chat... she's a lil darlin :)

I've also met quite a few other lovely people in there over the past week.... so you see, get active and you'll meet more people ! The only downside is you'll probably have to put up with ME in there from time to time :)

If everyone can just login when they are playing on the net of an evening, i'm sure we'll get that comunity feel back. Oh, Sam, if you are reading this, perhaps we could lengthen the idle time out time? at least till the site gets REALY busy? People logging in might have to wait a while till someone shows up, and at the moment if you are idle for what seems like a short time, they get disconected. Also Sam, is it possible to set the room up to play a little chime when someone types a message into the room? or perhaps even when someone arives? so if we are in another browser, we'll hear if someone is in the room?
