Well hello to the humidity, balmy nights and flies...yes I am in QLD again!

I had great plans of spending a lazy day at the beach, no kids, no cooking and no plans really.

I was telling everyone how wonderful it'd be and how carefree...but the only person I was tricking was me.

I was palming my kids off because none of my former "friends" had contacted me and the kids for christmas, only their father. So for them to have a half decent christmas, with pressies, great food and lots of people, I thought it best they had the day with him.

I was missing my family so much, being my first christmas as a single mum, it was really getting to me. And being so skint that they would only get a single present each from me was bothering me. Not that I spoil them but this year has been financially difficult and there are so mnay things that I want them to have...new shoes for one.

Anyway, it was getting to me...I tried really hard to hold it all in but my real friends could see I was really sad and one of them gave my kids and I the greatest gift!

Plane fare to Queensland to see the folks, YEAH!
