Greetings...
I debated with myself whether to add to this thread while going through it...yes!!..I talk to myself sometimes!!..lol. I think there's something to learn from every single experience, and we all attract everything we get in some way or another, directly or indirectly. So it's not just for Harry who perhaps in a momentary lapse of intelligence decided to express his dissatisfaction with F/F, without consideration for the feedback, I think we all need to consciously attract the things we want. Like Tish said, positive vibes will attract positive vibes back to you.

I have been on sites like these on and off for the past 6-7 years, with varying degrees of 'hooking up', for the lack of a better description. But you know what, I realised that I got exactly what I attracted, which was true connections with other people. I am still friends with some people I met on another 'sex' site 6 years ago, I go to their kids birthday parties, we meet just to see eachother, the focus is no longer on sex, it's on the person.

I'm only new on F/F, so I can't claim to be loyal in any way...one thing I can say is after lurking in the chat room(yes I know, guilty as charged) for a couple of hours last night, I found that there's a real community here, not just on Facebook, etc...right here. That is thanks to many who have replied to this thread, as I recall some of you in the room last night.

So I say...careful what you put out there, what you're attracting, because you WILL definitely get it..

Us members have to be forgiven too for reading your blog and getting the impression that you're all those things and more. I've been a member here for over a year now and not once has the business aspect of the site crossed my mind. That old adage, "Don't judge a book by it's cover" has never been more applicable than right now. :)

I agree with Hella..............Harry you are gettin far too much attention. You are like many of the naughty kids I teach who seek attention albeit negative as long as its attention so lets concentrate rather on the awesome people who certainly do deserve all our attention.

LOL, look at us slabs of meat trying to have a civilised conversation with Harry, the supermarket shopper. There's no reasoning with this neanderthal, I think it's best we just jump back on our shelves and hold our breath that someone as charming as him SELECTS US to toss into his trolley.

I joined the chat and met some great people to the point where some of them are now on my MSN and Facebook even though I haven't actually met them in real life. Any good PR guy will tell you have to sell the product in order to get buyers, Come talk to us in chat we don't bite we're alot of fun and sometimes Diver gets naked or falls asleep (yeah I had to put that in)you only get as much out of here as you put in. theres my 2 cents now give me my change.

Firstly, I thought I would just add a comment to the end of the queue, rather than addressing you all individually. After all, it's not like there's a wide range of differing opinions on offer so far. :o)

@ Tish: Quite true, before I posted this message, I think I'd received a grand total of one single, solitary hit - and that was from a bloke to boot!

Yet doesn't that make my point quite nicely? I'm well aware that there's many guys out there who are hotter than I, or fitter, wealthier or smarter, all "competing" for page views from the much smaller number of women who log in each day. And that's without taking into account criteria such as age and location, which seem to be given more weight when it comes to searches, etc..

@ Moreplay & Krysp: I'm sure the day when women will need to wonder "Is there a man for me on the internet?" is still a very long way off.

I'm sure there is a lovely community here, but really, isn't that what Facebook's for?

And lastly,

@Nux & Tryit : No, I wasn't calling anyone a liar, that'd be rude. But I do think the whole ratio thing is disingenuous, just a gimmick, something that other sites don't have. A well managed and properly pruned database doesn't equate to having an active group of users in the same proportions.

But hey, it doesn't matter all that much really, does it? As you all say, it's just a bit of fun. It's only a website, and I'll probably be gone in three months anyway, right?

Its all automated - there's no way the ratio of men to women can become inbalanced - unless computers forget how to add up.

Most members have been out partying their asses off all weekend, spending the day woozy from a killer hangover, it was 28 degrees outside today so the perfect spot to recover was in a hammock catching a tan at the same time!
