Come for a ride on my Triumph...
Hey Guys 'n Gals,
I finally went and bought myself a GoPro, the more footage i saw shot from GoPros the more i needed to have one.
I've still got a lot to learn about it all, like how to compress files without losing so much of the quality, and then how to join bits of footage together to make one decent length piece of footage. Anyway, here's some of the first footage i've taken with it mounted to the handlebars of the bike.
It's meant to make you feel like you're on the bike with me....so, come for a ride :)

Brunswick Heads, NSW, AUThat's some pretty awesome footage, MP. Gnarly track, that dude can ride! It's all a learning curve for me at this point. I just went on a big ride on the weekend and shot some footage with the cam mounted on my helmet, it's pretty cool but i've got to remember to stop looking around so much and checking mirrors etc, coz it messes up the footage. Got some cool footage though...just got to find a nice easy to use video editing program now, and some decent compression software and learn how to make some nice clips.

-Oh man! That was wicked! I even got a little bit motion sick at some of the turns! lol. Great idea to show what it is like and I even recognized where you were! Such a beautiful place :D. Those GoPro are awesome, N wants to get one for Tough Mudder!

Yeah its barely ticking over in that footage when cruising at 100, and that's only in 4th gear, so still 2 more gears to go - clicked up to 5th when i gave it a little squirt up to 130.... They're designed to cruise at low revs to keep the fuel consumption down, but still have enough torque when you need it. In top gear she's barely idling at 100ks.

Cool. I've been checking out a few Triumphs. Saw a really nice one the other day in Wollongong. I have no idea what type it was. I'm fanging around on a pretty cool CBR at the mo. To much fun isn't it?
