After reading Sass's latest blog i found myself interested in her comments on recent movies she's watched, but not so interested in the Cleo part of her blog.....for some strange reason :-P

Anyway, Sass, Slumdog and Gran Torino? Really? I thought both were only mediocre, not bad, but not great. Slumdog definately not worthy of the academy award in my opinion. Clint Eastwood has made some great movies in recent times, but i have to say that Gran Torino was the worst of them, it was just another take on Boyz n the Hood.... which was a classic and shouldn't be messed with.
Here's a couple that i found really good that i've watched recently - Boy A, and Pure.
Both really well written and well acted. Other good ones that spring to mind that i've recently watched are The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, and I just watched The Bank Job tonight and found that pretty good too.

I guess the purpose of this blog is to discuss opinions on movies. I've got a bunch downloaded that i am yet to watch, such as The Changeling, Seven Pounds, Rachel Getting Married, The Reader, Milk... just to name a few.... Heidi assures me that they are all fantastic, although her taste is sometimes different than mine.

Seriously though, if you apreciate well made and well acted movies, with interesting plots, check out Boy A and Pure.

Yeah they are almost always AVI files, and yes they do need converting if you want to burn to dic, but they will play just fine on the computer. Yes i have several programs too.... which you can download with serial numbers from torrents... or i guess you can just pay for them :-P anyhoo, was just giving a quick simple lesson on torrenting, there's obviously a lot more you can do.
