New chat launch this Sunday - now with mobile chat!

I'm excited to announce that we'll be launching a brand-new chat this Sunday, 22/09/13.

New features include:

• Mobile chat. Yep - native compatibilty with smartphones and tablets. No Flash required! The limitation here is that mobile users can't access cams, but at least they'll be able to get in on the conversation :)
• A new home screen that shows all of the rooms, and how many members in each. This will solve the current issue where people see an empty lobby, not realising that there are a bunch of members in the adult room (for instance). You can also jump straight into the room of your choice without going through the lobby.
• Gender-specific default avatars. Women will have a female avatar by default, males a male avatar and couples get a couples avatar. It's sounds minor, but I'm really liking this feature. Often new members don't know to change their avatar, so it looks like a bunch of guys in the room. Of course, you can still choose a different avatar if you like.
• Post photos into the chat room, or send them as whispers to other members. You can even send files directly to other members for them to download.
• Bubble mode! You can choose to display messages as "bubbles", similar to a smartphone text message interface. I predict people will either love it or hate it. Personally I'm undecided, but tend to stick to the classic interface.
• Full-screen video mode.
• Better performance and A/V quality.

The old chat has served us well but this will be a huge step up. I can't wait for you guys to see it!
