Honesty is key, I probably fall into the text book midlife crisis but that's what happens after 23 years with the same partner. Pretty simple, it's not just about a "hookup" for me. It's about forming a connection first. If you can't at least read someones profile then you'll never appreciate the little things... So what's the point.
