Laughs easily including at myself. Grounded with few illusions or delusions.

58 going on 15, content about growing older but not convinced about growing up.

People say they prefer me as friend rather than an enemy - I am attracted to the Jack Brabham view of friends. Jack planned to die with no enemies, as he put it "I plan to outlive each of the bastards!"
Interested in politics but dislikes most politicians.

Favourite TV - Blackadder; Front Line, QI and maybe Utopia.
Music - Van Morrison, Neil Young, Eagles.
Films - Jack Nicholson in As good as it gets, Peter Sellers in many - Being there, Dr Strangelove.

I do not and will not post a picture here I would if there was a way of controlling who sees it. Happy to share a pic with people who I contact or who contact me. I know that means I will get filtered out by many people on here but so be it as there are some things that I like to be able to control.

Finally the paradox about our obsession with life is that no one of us gets out alive.

Someone who is interesting and challenging; someone who task risks but is but doesn't have a death wish; someone who can grow older but not necessarily grow up
