I am a down to earth person, dont like liars or loud mouths. I call a spade a spade, find most things amusing but of course can be serious when warranted. I dress for comfort and not fashion, but dont worry I would not rock up at a dinner party in my pyj's. I am a good listener but dont want to hear about your baggage, please take it to the nearest check in. I love pets, gardening, and collect a few things, but am curbng that lately. I have done a bit of travelling and hope to do more. I have adult children and grandchildren, but there is a lot of life in this old dog yet. I am not working at the moment but am very independant and always pay my own way, defintely not looking for anyone to look after me financially . I am not a gold digger. Ask me anything and I will be very upfront and honest, but not too personal as I will ignore you, that goes both ways. Better stop now or else I will write a book. I would love to meet someone that actually listens to the other party and not presumes what they might be saying, and tries to finish their sentences for them. A guy that has a personality and is not afraid to just be himself, doesnt put on airs and graces. But on the other hand not a full blown slob either. I am not that well educated , but I am not stupid either. Prefer a non smoker. Must like to go out to listen to a live band and be able to stand on the dance floor and at least try to dance. Doesnt have to be John Travolta, I am not Olivia Newton John so that is a good thing I guess. A gardener would be an extra bonus and if I meet a handyman even better.
