Of European parents I was born in Africa. Until arriving in Australia at the age of 10 I was "and son" on my fathers passport as no country wanted to take responsibility for me! *Evil Grin* I have been in Australia ever since. The rest of the world is facinating, but there is so much of Australia that I have not seen and it is all amazing.

Started work in computers but very soon realised how quickly they were spreading and how quickly I would be overtaken by younger and better people so I moved where all no hopers go ... into management. Eventually picked up a MBA and 6 months later I was running my first motel in country Victoria. For the next 15 or so years I moved about Victoria with various motels, restaurants and (believe it or not) a video rental store. Yea, I like variety.

Then in the first 3 months of 2010 I lost 3 very important members of family. My cats that had been with me for the past 18 years. After a lot of soul searching I decided it was time for a change. I needed to stop working on work and start catching up with friends and family. I also desperately needed to put some fun into my life. So I got rid of everything, moved up here to the Gold Coast.

Currently I work week-ends in hospitality. This means that my "week-end" is Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When I am at work I am constantly on call. Therefore, my preference initially is to meet people during my free time only. I would hate to be about to "solve the world's problems" only to be interrupted by work.

Someone to help me put some fun into my life.
